Everyone appeals to the crowd, its a forum. The controversy and division in the flat earth thing are part of the poison.
I was kinda joking -- but I do think the original flat earth poster here and then 'doth protest too much' poster are shills. You kinda got trolled into it.

You're using appeal to crowd to assert everyone appeals to the crowd. A healthy forum of conversation has a lot of disagreements and you're talking about a subtopic about:
What else do you think they lie about?
On a forum about how the people who rule satanically sacrifice kids and how Barron Trump is in a timetravelling book via ingersoll lockwood or whatever the fuck.
I didn't say you were a shill, I said that arguing via appeal to the crowd is something shills do [because it corrals the stupid], the latent point being if you wish for whatever community you're a part of to thrive - resist appeals to the crowd by anyone.
Your logic is on point. I was attempting steering the community. Subconsciously perhaps.
Personally my opinion is that even if the wildest theories were true, flat/hollow earth, Tartaria/ancient civilization theory, time travel, alien shit, simulation theories, spiritual vibration woo, archons, parasites, etc etc etc, to focus on them now is unproductive at this stage. To a point that unproductivity can be advantageous to the adversary (and so it can be worth shill disruption ops).
The verifiable shit is kind of where I want to steer things. But not to say don't discuss the woo. Just ringing the bell. We have a verifiably corrupt and genocidal(?) system, a complex and deliberately designed psychological brainwashing apparatus, a war over information spaces, and all of this is coming from one adversary, one organization, one ideology, one beneficiary.
But yes, free exchange of information is crucial. Even (especially maybe) the woo. Doesn't mean I won't ring the bell every now and then. Does that make sense?

'Appeal to the crowd' really would be a shill tactic, but what's my intent though? What's my shill objective?
Was it to bust your balls for getting baited into Flat Earth wootopia?
