Worse yet are the people who talk about the 2024 presidential election as the thing to focus on. These are Trump conservatives who gave up on January 20th and are stuck in the 'old normal' paradigm, even as they watch everything crumble around us. In terms of waking up, they're not much better off than the liberal sleepers.
