I I made an oath to refuse to wear a mask; period. I played along last year for my jobsake, but not another day will i tolerate it. I fully see now this never ends until we ourselves stop tolerating it with complete veracity and conviction. Not at my job. Not for food. Nowhere. Frens, i could use godly council in this. I live in Virginia but on the east coast so i have to cross a bridge just to go to the dentist as it is. I've been worn down by this because I realize the severity of not having dental treatment in the long run. I can't predict how long this mask fiasco will go on but i made a vow not to play along anymore. My words mean nothing if I cave in now. I pray the Father gives me strength in the Holy Spirit to be obedient to this no matter the cost. In Jesus name, amen.
If anyone knows a dentist near the east coast of Virginia, preferably tge Southern end, not playing along with this garbage, please help.
God bless you all with the Holy Spirit, in Jesus name, amen.
My 10 year old son and I have been denied care at take different dental offices for refusing to mask. I say keep your appointments, show up and make them deny you care. Then document that you were denied care and calmly tell them they are illegally discriminating against you and participating in unlawful segregation of society. Shame them. It is not enough to just not show up (in ny opinion).
We have an appointment with a dentist in a county that doesn't have a mandate next month and I specifically plan to tell that dentist what happened to us and to encourage him to not participate in the segregation and discrimination of his community members. I am going to tell him that if he gets fined for not requiring masks he can win in court by demanding the local health officers provide material evidence that Sars Cov 2 exists and has been isolated in it's full form in a lab outside of a computer simulated setting. They cannot provide this evidence so once that legal precedent is set, the mask mandates in that county will end.
Please, have some sympathy.
Dentists are facing pressure from every direction. Some patients are against masks, some are for. Some patients want a fully vaccinated dental staff and strict protocols.
Dentists also are trying to comply with what official agencies are "mandating" / recommending, which is that patients wear masks in the office. Your dentists/offices you've been to are just trying to protect their ability to earn an income and feed their family.
Ex: I as a dentist am currently stuck in a feeling of perpetual stress. I fear for my license, business, and livelihood. I'm the only dentist I know (of my many classmates) that isn't vaccinated, nor requires masks for patients in the office.
I intend to refuse the vaccine and weekly testing which Newsom is mandating. Considered giving up, selling, and getting out now because I don't know what the future holds (a future bullshit FDA approval?), but some have motivated me to keep fighting and see if I can get in touch with some lawyers that can have my back
I hope you do, fren. I don't hate dentists. I just can't tolerate the abuse of my face any longer and feel led to seek dentistry willing to not go along with the get along, ya know? Human dignity matters more than a full mouth of teeth. (Not that teeth are not important.) But we should not have to choose one or the other. But I respectfully agree and see where you are coming from. God bless you with the Holy Spirit in Jesus name, amen.
I'll have your back if you stand up to these tyrants and so would many others. Find out who in your area is awake and make relationship with those people. Your business will have more demand than ever.
You ask me to have sympathy and I demand that you be brave. It is cowardly and wrong to participate in discrimination and segregation and your actions, if you submit to these illegal mandates, ultimately validate and perpetuate a false narrative that is resulting in mass genocide. Don't participate in that.
You should consider how very advantaged you are compared to most others to even be in the position to make these decisions for your office. This is not a difficult test. You just need to do the right thing. I speak as a self employed person who has chosen to disobey any figure illegal mandates interfering with my best judgment on how I operate my business. I have something on the line here and many others do too.
You'll have my back, but many people will not. Most people aren't picking their dentist based on vaccination status. Easy to lose the pro-vax patients, not so easy to gain woke ones.
You say this is not a difficult test. I say it is. My team is passive-aggressive to me and I fear I may lose them (ex: they put OSHA guidelines on my desk today). Patients assume I am vaccinated. I've already lost revenue streams with military patients and other referral sources.
Easier to be brave if I had worked for someone else and gotten fired. I don't completely see how advantaged I am when I'm at risk of losing my license or the business, while having assumed 7-figure debt I would never be able to pay off.
With that being said, I'm fighting. I don't require my staff to be vaccinated. And I don't require patients to wear masks. But everyone in general, not just dentists, have something on the line, and I empathize because I think things get complicated when people have debt, rent to pay, kids to feed, etc. Keep up the fight and thank you for the words.
You said you're in California. I am too. I can have 10 or more new patients on your waiting list by tomorrow if they know you will not force them to put a face diaper on themselves or their child or require that they have had a poison death shot to receive treatment. I am getting text messages every single day from friends who are fed up with these restrictions and with the doctors and dentists and business owners who are complying with it.
If you don't understand what is happening it makes sense to be afraid but if you know that these measures are designed to bankrupt, injure and kill large numbers of our population you simply cannot participate in it.
Regarding your staff, I would approach them with confidence too. They are welcome to continue their employment with you and to protect themselves however they feel necessary with their PPE. They are also welcome to seek work elsewhere with another employer who is practicing segregation and discrimination of employees and patients. Guaranteed there are hygienists and other qualified staff members who have been fired recently for not accepting the vaccines in their office. You can replace any troublemakers in your office probably easier than ever right now.
There is just zero argument or justification for these ridiculous measures in a dental office or in a restaurant for that matter. In the dental office you are literally working inside people's open wide mouths for sometimes over an hour at a time! This fake fear your employees are bringing to your attention has everything to do with wanting to control your behavior and the behavior of others and nothing to do with keeping themselves or others safe.
