I point that out to people when they call me a "Conspiracy Theorist". I then teach them about heuristics and how many choices they make with out one thought on the subject.

Easy to call someone a CT when all you have ever seen is crazy people on TV talking about inside jobs and tinfoil hats. Does tinfoil block 5G?
