Both wrong. The Jews (actually Canaanites, then Phoenicians and Carthaginians) were enemies of Shem (the son of Noah). The Shemsu Hor of Egypt, namely tall and fair creators of civilizations were warned of the Canaanites who would suck dry the civilizations through deceit and usury. The Canaanites were the anti-shemites. So of course they reversed it (think mirror) and as usual projected this term on the followers of Shem.
