So many are reporting Kathy Hocul is Nancy Pelosi step sister. I started digging because this would be a HUGE proof to many that politics is corrupt. Kathy's parents are John P. " Jack" and Pat Courtney, born and raised in Buffalo, NY. Nancy's father Thomas D'Alesandro died in 1987, mother Annuciata in 1995. However, only can find Kathy lost her mother 2 months before her bid for Attorney General. Anyone have any more ideas how to connect the dots?

You're going to need to figure out where they would have been living at the marriage and search public records for the marriage certificate of the parents if you want real sauce.
I tried looking for that as they both have the common connections to New York and neither parent shows a second marriage.
Census and marriage records easily accessible through Ancestry but it's still also easy to hit dead ends. For instance, that huge house across from the police station in Brandywine Township PA that exploded last month, it was owned by a Dunn family that was in financial business and I could find tax records, parcel records, other addresses, and some family connections through all that, but kept running into dead ends trying to confirm my suspicions that this Dunn family was related to Biden's crooked adviser Anita Dunn because she's remarried and there's nothing much mentioned about her children and the name is so common, plus the part of the country they live in is so close together and easy to move back and forth in that much crisscrosses.
