While in a meeting with HR to get the paperwork, I brought up The Binding of Isaac and how it was a story of faith that ultimately offers the moral of how one should never be made to sacrifice one's own flesh to prove allegience to a higher authority. I was sneered at and told "that's a real stretch".
I get the feeling nothing is going to be good enough for these God-hating goblins, but I'm going to be researching throughout the week anyway. Any help would be appreciated.
That's my issue as well. My faith is not confined to the Bible, yet that's the only source they're willing to accept. They've probably prepared a cheat sheet of verses most likely to be quoted and the prepared rebuttals to them.
Well let’s put that sheet to the test shall we? smirks silly fools
“For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. And there is no creature hidden from His sight, but all things are naked and open to the eyes of Him to whom we must give account.” Hebrews 4:12-13 NKJV
Let’s see what might we anticipate man misunderstandings of God would reply with? First I think of the classic your selfish. Wwjd, don’t judge people or your bad, what else they got?
