Why didn’t you also take the time to gain more valuable skills so you didn’t have to go back to the crap restaurant? Basically every industry has been on a hiring spree of anyone who will show up. You don’t make much money working at a crap restaurant because it is not a valuable or difficult thing to do. There are a lot of great things that can be done in the world, especially with your new found health and physical fitness. Now it’s time to workout your brain and break the cycle.
Good idea. What should I do. I'm pretty built and a good worker. There are tons opportunities in my city but they all pay really crap wages (similar to the Subway job I work at) I want to make more to support my family though. I'm a hard worker like way better then others. What would you recommend.
What is with a everyone recommending union jobs? There are tons of good paying union jobs in my area and lots of postings for them. But I would never accept one because I dont believe in socialism even if it results in higher pay for my family and more economic freedom for me. How is that any different then accepting a handout, (which I did for a year). I'm looking for a good non educated non union career
Anyone who works for a union is a commie in my eyes even if I'm jealous of your pay and benefits.

HVAC, electricians, and plumbers have unions with apprenticeship programs, hard workers move up pretty quickly. Call the local in your area.
