Neem oil as an alternative for Ivermectin?

At a talk given by a brave NZ Doctor last night another member of the audience suggested Neem oil as an alternative to Ivermectin. Seems to be used as an insecticide. Anyone with further information please.

Thanks for that information - much appreciated. Yes on pine needle tea and also chamomile which has Suramin also.
