Specially if the voices about the prion disease are real, (In France seems yesterday the set a moratorium on prion research for a while after 5 contaminations), you can understand why they bake and liquefy them...

You can work 60 hours a week, pay most of your income in taxes, live in a pod eating bugs, and not have any children. When you die they can literally just flush you through the sewer system.
