It’s not a very big city either so that’s pretty surprising. We were there two Summers ago & the number of homeless again in a small town was surprising. Great microbrews, cute town, a few nice shops & restaurants but homeless everywhere made it feel like things weren’t going to well overall.

Yeah. I was surprised when I visited Asheville a couple of years ago. Hadn't been there in a while but I didn't feel safe.
