I'd like to think that one of the strengths of a Q savvy candidate running for office is they'd be able to make literal statements that appease liberals and the unawakened, and rest confident the remainder of us would be able to read between the lines and not drop support.
Trump showed us the gentlemen's art of boxing the media. Sometimes you go all out like a wolverine--especially when they're demanding apologies. When they try to hold you to the most extreme example of your policy? Just bend and agree with them. Contrast this with an otherwise excellent candidate like Ron Paul, who just ends up boxed into a corner debating things like prostitution or the postal service.
Elder's job right now is to replace Newsom. He does that by being an all around likeable guy who will fix the obvious stuff and mark off a diversity checkbox. The job of fixing the election in CA rests with the legislature.

I don't think he's a rino, I think he's truly a patriot, so I do hope he wins.
