My mother who is an ER nurse bullied me into getting the J&J COVID-19 vaccine and I so far haven't had any adverse reactions, but I need some advice about how I can treat an adverse reaction should one happen. My mom seemed extremely fearful of the virus due to seeing many young people die at our local hospital.

Standing up to bullies is a good way to reduce side effects by the sound of it.
I stood up as long as I could, but ended up with a scare when I had a GERD pain in my chest and ended up going to the emergency room.
