Always liked the show,, but I've grown more fond of the Twilight Zone since I discovered that Rod Serling served in the same paratrooper regiment as my grandfather. 😁

Former paratrooper myself. 82nd Abn, 1st of 319th Fld Artillery (ABN), we supported 3rd BDE now called the 505th PIR (Panther Brigade). So many reorganizations and restructerings over the years, it's hard to trace.
I salute your Grandfather. All Paratroopers are brothers. I loved talking to the old timers. Especially the WW2 ones I had a chance to meet at 82nd Abn Division conventions I attended.
Thank you for your service! I never got to meet my grandfather. I believe it was the 511th he was in. I was lucky enough to track down a copy of his year book on CD. Someone was selling on eBay. I reprinted it in book format and gave it to my father for Christmas one year.
