The doctor sent them home saying it was viral and since they didn't take the vaccine, they would have to go home and let their body fight it off. Well if that's the case; WHY DO WE NEED A VACCINE?
I wonder if they had been wearing masks? Likely bacterial if so. I wonder how the dr could tell it was viral with no bacterial infection present without doing a sputum culture? Wouldn't an antibiotic be prudent at this point anyway to prevent secondary bacterial infection, assuming it was viral to begin with?

I’m not a doctor. Im a little puzzled. I feel they should have been treat. I don’t know this ER got away with this.
