Why didn't they just put them in the water? I am middle of the road and believe nothing until proven. If they had to go to all this trouble just to put parasites in us, why not poison the food supply? They have complete control of that.

It seems that the parasites are abundant enough in the environment or at the very least through sexual contact. The goal instead is to weaken the immune system to the point that it cannot fight back.
