Q is clearly saying that the truth we think we know about the world is completely false and its knowledge would drive us insane.

Ie. The Earth is a reality show for aliens, politicians eat babies on the regular, the Earth is not a globe, supernatural beings exist, you are being watched closely by many different spiritual beings.

Totally. I stopped being afraid when I was a child, honestly. I learned a long time ago that when wicked thoughts pop into my head to look around and notice the dark figures, and then try to laugh at them.
