The russian embassy is currently in business as usual mode. Throughout all this ordeal, the russians never closed their Kabul embassy.
The chinese did close their embassy temporarily (moved to neighbor Pakistan), but just to wait out the turmoil: the CCP foreign minister had a meeting with top Taliban officials just a month ago in July (so it's obvious they're on the same page).
Both russians and chinese are currently pretty comfy with what's going on there.
Also: I bet the CCP is ecstatic about building an oil pipeline from Iran to China over Afghanistan now...
Taliban pretty much operate with whoever pays them money. Just dump cash and they wilp be fine with it.
The onpy issue comes when they use said cash outside just purchasing drugs and booze, and use it to fund the odd terror group and give them training grounds for cash. Even then, the amount of finances they give out isnt that high.
