Do you think it is out of the realm of possibility that Real WMD BOOMS were left as well? Desperate people do desperate things. "An evil enemy, will burn his own nation to the ground….to rule over the ashes. “ Sun Tzu

We were there for 20 years. Do people really think that WMD's were never deployed there?
Could be but what kind are you thinking of?
Really big bombs, bunker busters and those type are stateside and on aircraft carriers. Maybe an A-stan vet can confirm but I don't think they were re-arming and refueling jets and bombers at Baghram. Helicopter munitions are there though, hellfire missiles, etc. We likely didn't bring in a lot of anti-air since A-stan and the Taliban had no air force, although Iran and Pakistan neighbors do.
If the area ever needed a nuke, it'd be a cruise missile or B1-B52 drop.
Don't think our military has active chemical warfare munitions outside of CS (tear gas) but the paramilitary wing of the CIA can probably get their hands on it pretty easily.
Question is worth noting, besides small arms, vehicles and ammo, what else was left behind?
