Well if I was a guy planning an invasion, or a retreat, I would rig all my equipment, vehicles, etc, with self destruction mechanisms and the ability to spy on whoever was using the equipment. That way you could allow it to be captured, and still use it to your advantage. If this is not the case the American military is more incompetent that I thought.
