The war was a success in the sense that it made the "right people" shit tons of money over the decades.

Trump did negotiate a peace agreement with Taleban last year - and it included the release of 5000 prisoners.

Did we just see a release of 5000 prisoners?? Yes...

Wow, I was not aware of this. I will have to dig that out. This is so confusing if true. Why would Trump negotiate with terrorists? Unless, the taliban are not terrorists and they have been the Cabal scapegoat to enrich themselves by destabilizing the middle east. Am I being deprogrammed? I definitely would like some sources on this theory.
