For me it’s the quality of the video..... especially when you look at details on individuals even closer to the camera than the plane..... I could make out the hatches mentioned by the OP ..... once you start pausing you can see their lines....
Plus why use a replica....? And if it’s a creation of bad actors then it’s images like this that makes them look bad.... so I don’t see the logic for doing it in the first place.... it’s just as easy to stage manage these images with a real C17.... or indeed photo shop them....

Assuming this was a bit of stage managed fakery (and I don't know, just thought it was a bit strange) this would be the logic:
Fake plane so the "desperate scenes" can be shot without anyone getting killed, which would be a real danger if using a real plane, also could wreak the plane. I just cannot imagine the pilot allowing a situation like that on a runway, it is too unsafe.
Why release fake? a little bit of encouragement to us who spot it, it confirms the movie idea, proves control. The fact that it embarrasses Biden suggests if it is faked, it would not be them faking it. I dont know, I'm in the dark as everyone else... could all be genuine crisis for all I know.
