Exactly. Most of the time its over meaningless crap and I'm like, why was I shown this, it's of NO consequence. I did have one important one, of a personal nature, but it didn't help me because the event still happened, within hours of waking up actually. Had no idea that dream was a warning of danger until after the danger hit me. The worst thing about these dreams is I don't know which ones are prophetic until they come to pass. So yeah, it's pretty useless for me. But boy when they do come to pass, they are exactly like the dream! 100% accurate. Pretty frustrating that I can't control it.
I've also seen "ghosts" but I don't believe in ghosts so don't ask me what they really were, I don't know, I only have theories. (And it's spooky because it runs in the family)
I've had one vision which was one of the most impactful moments of my life
And a few out of body experiences
And I have lots of lucid dreams, that's probably the coolest thing because it's happened enough now that i can sometimes control them. I would say out of all the "woo" experiences I've had, dreams seem to be my "area" I guess if you could call it that. I have a dream journal of some pretty crazy dreams about the future in case they end up being prophetic in any way.
Regretably, the only "gift" I have is the ability to speak several languages and to spot English mistakes instantly. No metaphysical gifts at all. I do, however, speak to my deceased parents every night but it's a one-way conversation.
I've seen the 'ghost' of my grandfather, a month or so after he died. Was stone sober and heard his chair creak, look over, and there he was sitting like he was watching TV after work. He was there for less than a minute when he vanished and the chair rocked one last time. I always had the sensation that was his last goodbye to me, nothing creepy at all (Or I didn't experience that way).
The other on this OP line was, well, I was in a coma but didn't die in any definition and did not go out of body. However, I did come aware and saw what I could only describe as a 'guardian angel' and the main message that I do remember was being told "Don't worry, everything always works out just the way it is supposed to." (Words that have saved me multiple times over years)
Yes. Prophetic Dreams but not often and not something I can control.
Same. Usually random shit that comes to pass in a day or two. I call it "Useless clairvoyance".
