That stuff requires constant neverending check-ups and upkeep. It will all break within a month or two, three at best. The ANA wasn't taught how to do any of that, US military made sure of that.
That's why it's nothing but fearmongering crap.
We did not supply the Afghan army with our newest models. It's mostly old stuff. Russia and China got their hands on them a long time ago. There's nothing to reverse engineer. They neither want nor need American military equipment, they got high tech stuff of their own.

They did get a ton of stuff like rifles and ground vehicles. None of which make a difference on a larger scope. For instance the ANA got no air force.
