Can I offer another perspective? And maybe someone in the know in military can chime in. This kind of precision is only possible if the camera has never been moved from it's position, so if there is a camera mounted on the plane, then that could explain these two different yet perfectly aligned pictures even if they were taken at different times. Anyone know if these planes typically have cameras mounted in them?
That's a fair point. The lighting etc. isn't going to change inside an aircraft with no windows. However, look at the height of the guy standing alone in the top-left picture. Compare to how tiny the people are in the same part of the aircraft in the picture on the right. Has DARPA perfected the shrink ray, or has the lone guy in the top left picture been eating a lot of spinach?
I wrote that earlier. I see now the up ramp, however it doesn't explain the tiny head at the standing guys knee being so small. The child on the right also didn't fit in the press released picture. But what is the thing across the tail ramp, looks like a body laying almost horizontal across it or am I missing something?

Also 20 people horizontally lined up in the back (roughly). Afghans must be very small because it looks like 8 Americans seated.
