Our school district here in Illinois first said they would let the parents decide on how to send their kids to school - but after our fat-boy governor stated he would withhold funds, they caved and said starting Monday, 8/23/21, masks would be required for everyone! I'm so mad! Of course, the virus will only become bad starting Monday - not Thursday or Friday of this week - just starting on Monday! We are truly in a Twilight Zone movie! <SIGH>

I’m in Illinois too and our school district did the same. I am appalled at the number of elementary kids that got vaccinated just so they wouldn’t have to wear a mask. I foresee this turning into “vaccinate or lose funding”, but I pray that’s not the case.
