Why are you getting so upset about the checkout person -- do you ever think that his employer is mandating the masks ??? It's not up to the employee to give clearance or not or the mask.

I can't understate the amount of people that are given "power" in turn abuse it.

It's a philosophical aspect of if you were given power......do you use it just cause you can?
