Yes. Once he saw who the real enemy was (Communists) and who had bravely tried to stop them (Germans). Once he got into Germany at the end of the war he also started to see that much of his own country’s propaganda was bullshit. Unfortunately he let it slip that once he was back in the U.S. he was going to “do something about it”. RIP General Patton.
Well he sure wasn’t a yes man! We saw Omar Bradley (worse leader) get promoted over Patton. The difference…Bradley was more a politician than Patton
