As far as masks saving lives: The first question is how many times would you have sneezed on someone if it weren't for your mask blocking it from reaching someone? The second question is, was that person or were those people in a high risk group, as in liable to die if they got covid? The third question is do you have covid?
If you do have covid and you would have sneezed on someone were it not for the mask you were wearing locking it and that person is a high risk group then maybe you would have killed that person. Also, maybe not. Maybe being in the high risk group that person was smart enough to have a tube of horse paste to take in case of such an emergency.
There are many factors to consider when considering how many lives your mask has saved.
Personally because I answered no to all of the questions my mask has not saved one life.
