They got out of uniform and into civilian clothes. A lot of them must have gone back to their villages and towns, to some other warlords in the north who doesn't owe the tellytubby's a great deal.

Some have got a lot of this equipment and are cannibalising it to sell in the tribal areas of Pakistan.
