Best cell phone service? Freedom phone? Help!

I have an IPhone and T-mobile service and am ashamed and disgusted that I’m paying money to either of these companies. I (and maybe other frenz) would greatly appreciate recommendations for best cell company and best phone. I trust the input from GAW more than any other. Thanks 🙏

Patriot Mobile may have better prices and I don't understand the inner workings but they still use t-mobile cell towers. I personally am going to sign up with them.
