Maybe that explains how the people don’t get sucked into the engines.

But seriously, if a pilot/avgeek could correct me, isn’t the engines being on enough to make it very dangerous not only for the people but for the engines/life of the aircraft? Those big red lines around the engines on a tarmac are there for a reason. Or are we just too careful in America?
