Holy Ghost, lead my hand please?
Hebrews 6 (reading of the day)
Father,
You are the immutable God. You are the one who can swear an oath on no greater thing than Yourself. You are the Creator of All things. And nothing was made apart from Your Son, Jesus Christ (John 1). He is our Anchor of the soul (soul = that thing that sets to us or morality). He is both Sure and Steadfast and enters into that within the veil. He entered in for us to be our High Priest. He went in where we were cut off from. He IS the taught line of the kite that gives us flight. (Beautiful eulogy reference). To show us, the heirs of Your promise to Abraham, confirmed it by an oath upon Yourself. Made an High Priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec.
May we eat this body of the High Priest that was given for us which is the bread and divide it among ourselves.
And may we drink all of this wine that is His blood, for the remission of sins and of the new testament. May we now know that He is behind the veil AS the sin offering for ever more. No more bulls or goats are needed. Hebrews 10

God bless you. May the blood of Christ and the flesh of his body sustain us as we remember the greatest sacrifice ever given to mankind. May the Lord dwell with each of us who believe in him, walk with us as we walk along with him, and cleanse our hearts and souls as we ask forgiveness for the sin in which we were born into and commit on a daily basis no matter how small. As humans, we know we have all sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. But through Jesus Christ we are saved. We remember our Savior through Communion and share in the glory of his Resurrection. To God be the glory. Thank you Jesus for what you have done for us. Amen.
