I've read/heard from a few different sources that Trump doesn't want to be/won't be president for a second term. Maybe that was always the plan, i.e. that Trump would do what needed to be done during his first term, including stepping aside for Biden, that he would then continue to act as a rallying point for patriots till we get on the other side of this mess, and beyond that he would only act as an elder statesman. If that's true, then perhaps his continued praise of Operation Warp Speed and the jabs is his exit strategy.
