We can't get rid of the common cold (coronaviruses), influenza, rhinoviruses or the rest of the seasonal viruses (This entire grouping is called "flu" by the vast majority of americans) because they mutate too easily.

Every year we deal with them because they're constantly mutating, thus able to continue to pass around. The bodies learn to fight these viruses and they are pressured to become more infectious but less deadly.

This has been true forever. Until the brainwashing of the masses went into overdrive, EVERYONE KNEW THIS. Even you folks here that seemed to forget it knew this.

These are all VARIANTS BECAUSE EVERY VIRUS IS A FUCKING VARIANT. I haven't seen the criteria that they're basing the "variant" title on but variant is just fucking evolution of the fucking virus.

Evolution that without a leaky vaccine pressures the virus to become less deadly and more infectious. Evolution that WITH a leaky vaccine, pressures change and can lead to very very very bad outcomes FOR EVERYONE.

Honestly we have all been demonstrated to be pretty fucking stupid. Look at what we've let the world become, all of us having known better. Sad.
