HB 39 is a bill that actually bans employee vaccine mandates (unlike Abbott's half ass order that only bans it for state employees). Call your rep to push them to support this or you will do everything to primary their ass.

Done. Thank you.
Called and left a message this morning.
If I am reading this correctly the bill has already passed and is effective on 9/1/21

They have had three legislative sessions in 2021. 87(R), 87(1), and 87(2). R for regular and 1 & 2 are emergency/extended sessions. We are in 87(2) right now. The bill you linked was an earlier session. The one I posted originally is pretty new and in current session.
This is a different bill. I think there is a Legislative Session 87 and a Legislative Session 87(2). I clicked on the text of the bill for your link and the above one and it's definitely different bills... Your bill is about Protective Orders and it has passed. The above bill was just introduced.
Thanks for the info. I will check into it further. I am highly pleased with the anti discrimination bill but a complete ban is even better
While I don't disagree with you. I think HB 39 is the best bet for getting something real passed in the short time frame that we have.
Somehow i missed the the fact that this portion of the bill wasn't passed. Im going to start calling everyday
