I was optimistic about maybe white hats were controlling this Afghan. situation but after today's events I am having a hard time rationalizing this in any logical mindset.

Also after Flynn's remarks yesterday I am beginning to feel that we are on our own

And the overall deaths in 2020 was trending lower than 2019, which some were trying to use as justification for making parts of lockdowns permanent but those discussions quickly became unpopular.
