Dr Mary Giswold, associate medical director at Kaiser Permanente, is quoted in a Guardian article claiming that "if you get sick and need the hospital, we may not have a bed [for you]"
The article claims that more people in Oregon are hospitalized now that at any time during the pandemic.
Typical cabalnews to instill fear - I'm just curious if any of it is actually true.
Thanks in advance!
I live here in Portland. Wouldn't know anything was different if it wasn't for the media regarding covid. I havent been around the hospitals but I could only assume that people filling up hospitals around here are old or extremely unhealthy already. It sure is strange to me how there would be more people in the hospital today, in the end of summer, who a lot would be vaccinated, than there was in November when we didn't have the Vax at all during peak flu and cold seasons. It just doesn't make sense at all.
Yeah, none of this makes sense. Thanks for the answer!
