Vet here. I'm getting tired of this shit too.

My response to most of this is 'fuck around and find out'.

In basic training, we had a fair few seminars/lectures on what a lawful order is and our DUTY to not follow unlawful orders no matter the rank of the person giving them.

Firing on your own people is treasonous.
