A couple of years ago, I read an article on vaccines and how they will result in a different immune response based simply on the fact that they do not have the same entry point in the body as the actual virus. So if it’s the flu, for example, you don’t catch the flu from an injection in your arm. Its entry point is through your nasal passages. That made so much sense to me. One always expects, and gets, a stronger reaction from natural immunity. (shhh - it’s science.)
