Monday 23rd Clowns in America director William Burns met face to face with taliban leader abdul ghani baradar.

Thursday 26th airport attack & US casualties.

Why would a face to face meeting be required from the director?! Is Kabul not a bit dangerous? Does one not send an underling to negotiate with terrors in an active warzone?

IDK what if anything one has to do with the other, but an odd coincidence none the less.

Yeah I think you are correct - the CIA got in over their heads on this...they couldn't control the poppy fields forever, unless they had the people on board for a "forever" war. Support has waned, especially since the beginning of the Trump era.
