I have a poster in my room I made for a book report when i was a kid about the book War of the Worlds by HG Wells... I almost left out the L in worlds so I had to fit in very small and it looks like it says War of the Words... I was thinking about it this morning and I remember reading about how they made the announcement in a radio broadcast as if aliens were really invading (acting out the plot) and there's a sort of urban legend about people who tuned in truly getting scared and believing the aliens are invading bc they didn't know it was a book story being acted out. I was thinking how this covid scare is basically a fake scare event exactly like war of the worlds and broadcast thru the media hype all with words, a ton of people believe it and think its real... When in reality the real threat is the shot, they literally trick people into shooting themselves so to speak. All with words
