Just saw a yahoo article today saying that the education board is investigating 6 states for NOT forcing the mandate on schools. Not going to post the article because screw em. Im sitting here like, "that seems pretty totalitarian". So I send the article to a lefest "friend" whose been debating me from day Trump walked down the elevator.
He goes completely off the rails. Calling me all sorts of names because I dont subcribe to kids breathing their own snot for 7 hours a day. He says, "You are disgusting for saying im committing child abuse for thinking kids should wear a mask at school. My kids principle says cases keep coming and all I'm trying to do is keep him safe from a preventable virus, yada yada". So he actually thinks he is keeping his kid safe while people like me are the disgraced. I send him the 30 studies I have saved. He didnt even acknowledge it. He just goess off, never wants to talk to me again, blocks me and so on.
So I just want to know. Why is the education board allowed to make these decisions with 0 scientific evidence, manipulating parents into thinking these masks actually do anything, and how is this not considered child abuse and psychological abuse on a massive level? Why is this being allowed?
I emailed our superintendent and assist super, zero response. I emailed a Dr. whom I know personally who is advising the board, he said they are told not to respond and talk to the super, but he did send a link of there "data." I read through it, they literally have none. They cite studies saying transmission is low in schools and we can go to school safely. Then, without evidence each study says it is safe due to masks. But there is no data about masks.
There Q&A wasn't scientific at all. It said is it safe for kids to wear masks all day at school. The answer was yes, b/c hospitals do it. Still no data. Also, did not elaborate on the fact that hospital employees change to a new medical mask everytime they see a new patient. They don't wear the same mask all day.
I am waiting on an attorney who had interest in me suing the school board and state dept of education. Hoping to have a call this week.
This is insane. But as long as the masses allow it to happen we seem to have no choice. Gives greater meaning to WWG1WGA.
Great comment and I am with you. There is no science that says wearing a mask all day is beneficial to your health. A medical doctor works directly on patients and you are right, they replace the masks. How many of these kids are wearing masks day after day not washing their masks? It's so gross just thinking about it. They have 0 evidence that masks reduce transmission of viruses. I think its such a disgrace that they will not return your emails. These are children at stake and they are essentially punishing them because they "think" masks actually work. I would definitely try to sue all of them. But further more, we need organized parents to protest outside of the school. Suing can take years and by then will be too late. Parents need to rise up and show their disdain at the school so that they are pressured into changing the rules. This will show the kids that parents are standing up for them. I know that if I was still in school, I'd be in very big trouble every day not wanting to wear this mask. Parents need to stand up for them and show them they are there for them. These rules need to be changed quickly and not after it takes years to sue them.

I’m sorry for the loss of your friend. I want to go off on people too and I know the same would follow. Just the fact that other countries are not doing this should have them THINK. I don’t understand it. Clearly the masks are gross and dirty. My kids never change them no matter how many times I tell them to.
Because you allow it to happen. JUST SAY NO. RESIST.
