The FDA approval letter says that the BioTech and Comirnaty are interchangble and lists the same ingrediants stating they are the same vaccine. So is it? Or is it not? Whats the counter argument to the document. Arguing with a docter at work.

Comirnaty is FDA approved. Pfizer does not have the liability shield so if you take this shot and are injured you can sue Pfizer. But none of the Comirnaty vaccine exists, and Pfizer won't say when they plan to start manufacturing it.
Pfizer BioNTech is the current vaccine. There is lots of it available. It is under EUA approval, which shields Pfizer from legal liability. If you get a Pfizer vaccine any time in the next year (or two)? it will be the BioNTech vax.
Pfizer claims the two vaccines are identical, but in the approval the FDA said they are "legally distinct", which means Pfizer bears liability for Comirnaty, but not for BioNTech.
Thanks. Do you have a link to back this up? Not to sound like a smart ass but need a URL to show to people who ask. Thanks.
This link sounds like they're the same thing: https://www.fda.gov/emergency-preparedness-and-response/coronavirus-disease-2019-covid-19/comirnaty-and-pfizer-biontech-covid-19-vaccine
