I've lived most of my life in Florida and have lived through many, many hurricanes. From Andrew to Wilma and all of them in-between. After the storm passes the news starts airing pictures of destroyed buildings non-stop for a week or two.
This is very different and strange. The media isn't even cutting away from their non-stop coverage of Covid to take a second to show what happened in New Orleans. I've seen some images, but from what my friends who live near there are saying is that it's wide spread flooding, many many buildings destroyed, and endless looting near the cities - but the MSM isn't sharing that.
My company has an office just outside New Orleans and we've been told it was totally flattened and they don't even have an estimate of when power will be on or when it will be fixed. A local employee went to check on it this morning and he couldn't even get close with his Jeep, he tried walking but the road was flooded and impassible.
The only stories I'm hearing about this all are interviews with the hospital where they ask nurses if they're prepared for an influx of wounded with the hospital at full capacity from Covid.
Individuals should be recording and posting up all over Instagram Facebook and other social media outlets. That’s how the news gets out. But I haven’t seen anything, not even on here. We the people
It was never even trending on Twitter
I’m not saying that what you’re saying is not correct, it’s just that people that live in that area I need to speak up, they need to post their videos, they need to show the looting, they need to show the flooding. Until they do nobody will know. You are correct the MSM is evil
They can’t. The main transmitter that basically sends power to all of New Orleans fell in the river. Cellphone towers are down everywhere. Texts are spotty and phone calls drop immediately.
Ohhhh well at least once The transponders are repaired, or people or an area where their cell phones work, they’ll have those videos on their phones and they can post them up. Right? Eventually we will see what’s going on, if the people in the area want us to. If people are leaving the area, because it’s unlivable, they should have videos on their phone and should be posting them up elsewhere when their phones are working. I’ll be waiting I want to see what’s happening !
I guess the weather channel got the memo to skip their annual fake-a-thon of reporters in mortal danger?
