looks like his co-star was a bit smarter than him...

darn, should have known, but guess it doesn't surprise me.
maybe I liked his characters more than him, been so long hard to remember. but I do get a kick out of cantankerous old men, always liked Archie Bunker, but think Carrol O'Connor was a liberal too. guess it comes with the HW territory.
