I am a sinner just as you are. I have never had the sin of which you speak...I have been a victim of it though. Hardest thing to forgive I assure you I am still working on it. It was a family member. If I can work on forgiveness...so can you.

I do not know how Milo would abandon them...but God does - all He asks is for the person to have the desire to repent and Then hand it over to Him. The battles too big for us to handle God has promised to fight with/for us. I hope you don't think I'm speaking in platitudes. but this truth is simply dressed.
