I read earlier that the Australian Government was censoring all truck strike news - it was suggested to look at google earth for the actual pix of trucks blocking highways.

I google earthed my house, looks just the same as it did ten years ago. So I'd say google earth is not doing any updating here in Oz?

I have lived in my home for over 5 years....still has artifacts from previous owner on Google earth.
