Many people who have been living on EDD benefits will have their free money dry up starting September 6th and it doesn't seem like another extension is coming.
First, a lot of lazy people who have been sucking at the teet for a year and a half are about to be angry they can't receive a pay check for sitting on their ass. Who, where, and how will this anger be directed?
There will be an entire new group of people re-entering the workforce who have been out of work for a long time due to free gibs, almost 8 million people. How will this effect the economy? Positive, negative, both?
I can't fully explain why but it feels like an important marker, but it feels like a big deal. What do you all think?
But people were getting fifty grand a year and they had the option of tax me now or tax me later in betting alot chose later This and the fact alot were NOT paying rent/mortgage payments cause they couldn't be evicted Around here Ohio there are jobs EVERYWHERE some really good jobs going begging No sympathy here
Yes, they paid way more than they should have with the federal. But I blame the government for that, not the people. Few would turn that down. I also blame the government for the rental forgiveness. Again, someone is about to lose their home. Who would turn that down? Totally the government's fault. They are sparing renters while screwing over landlords who have mortgages to pay. Again, it's not the little people to blame. Blame the corrupt government and corporations. People do what they need to in order to survive. It's the ones in power who are causing all of us to point the finger at each other when it is they who are pulling the strings.
I hear you but they had enough w 50000 grand a year also I an guilty I took the stimulus could have done without it
