I figured I should get this in order just in case my horse needs a round of ivermectin. Anyone have the info for me?

Start slow, if you do have worms the die off can cause systemic shock and death.
Sure thing handshake. I read about all those horses dropping dead because too many internal parasites were killed off too quickly!
Parasite/pathogen die off is a real thing, even has a name. Herxheimer effect/reaction.

Yes, this is a real thing. This horse will go slow and advise other horses to do that as well...
Your body can get rid of the dead organic matter only so fast.
Just have your horse take smaller amounts over moar time...
Its not normally a systemic problem when you deworm as a matter of a standard yearly or biannual routine fren.
I was kinda skeptical but I think he may be telling the truth. Horse life is hard.
Are you sure about that?
Yeah I remember when my Puppy shit out a 1/2 a pound of worms, she was in the ICU for a month. Thanks handshake.
